ADP is hiring a Senior Content Developer. This person is an experienced structured author, proficient in DITA XML, who can support information architecture. In this role, you will be the team lead as we refactor unstructured knowledge management articles and evolve our KM library ensuring accuracy through lifecycle maintenance. Responsibilities include authoring and implementing proper reuse strategies plus supporting the team through structural review, mentorship and upskilling. Responsibilities: Authoring and maintaining your own body of knowledge management content. Act as an expert regarding structured authoring and content development. Refactor unstructured content into DITA XML using IXIASoft, Oxygen XML Author Eclipse and Web Author maintaining your own book of business. Skilled in reusing DITA Content through advanced concepts including Component Referencing, Filtering (DitaVal) and Keys. Support a team of authors through structural review, mentorship and upskilling. Partner with other Content Developers to align reuse strategy and process/procedures throughout the organization. Establish strong working relationships with business and technology leaders across ADP to align our team to the larger ADP organizations governance and advocate for our specific requirements. Experience with AI and Salesforce is a plus. Education: A bachelorí¢€™s degree in information systems, Information Architecture, Computer Science, data governance, data management, Technical Writing or a similar major or the equivalent in experience required. Competencies: Required 8+ years of experience in information architecture In-depth DITA specification knowledge. Working understanding of DITA/XML and relevant tools (IXIASoft, Oxygen XML editor). Knowledge of ADP Business tools: CCMS, Ixiasoft, SharePoint and Salesforce. Ability to analyze content structure for semantic value. Comprehension of business drivers and their impact on content creation, reuse, and delivery. Demonstrates advanced research and analytical skills. Builds relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels. Presents proposals and projects and has strong communication skills. Manages multiple assignments at once and has good project management skills. Ability to communicate with leadership in written, presentation, or ad-hoc verbal formats. Ability to work independently. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to prioritize projects based on business needs and to lead projects. Proven ability to facilitate discussions and activities necessary to define and capture complex processes/procedures. Ability to collaborate with other roles to create, manage, reuse, customize, and deliver content. Technical proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Superior verbal and written communication & presentation skills. Training skills necessary to educate others in proper element usage. Preferred Experience implementing new software/tools. Attributes: Self-motivated/takes initiative and proven ability to work independently or in a team. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, probe, analyze trends, problem solve complex issues, and recommend appropriate course of action. Superior interpersonal and follow-up skills. Comfortable facing challenges and leading initiatives for positive change. Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
