Accounting Clerk positionLHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a Consumer Products company located in Hauppauge, NY to fill a temporary Accounting Clerk position. This role is expected to be 6+ months long and requires five days per week in the office. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be assisting an Accounting team of 5 This team is very willing to train and is excited for you to join them. Responsibilities: Entering accounts payable invoices into the system. Working with vendors to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies. Assisting with new vendor set up, vendor communication, and reconciliationRunning AP aging report and assisting in check run processProcessing incoming payments and applying to accountsReconciling corporate credit card statements and employee expense reports to ensure spending is in compliance with company policyAssisting with Accounting related projects on an ad-hoc basisQualifications:Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableA Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience is preferred but not requiredProficiency in ExcelStrong communication skills both written and verbalLength:Temporary role, 6+ months long Schedule/Hours:5 day per week on site in Hauppauge, NY (Parking Available)9 - 5 PM, 35 hour work week If you are interested in this role, please Apply NowPay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hourSearch managed by: Marly Roche Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
