Based in Mahwah, NJ, our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of their organization and supporting their continued growth.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who is adept at managing complex accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, a keen eye for detail, and excellent analytical skills. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Oversee general ledger activities, including monthly reconciliations and adjustments.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Monitor and maintain cost accounting records, including inventory valuation and cost analysis.Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts.Provide support for financial planning and analysis, including ad hoc reports and financial modeling.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in manufacturing accounting.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Flexible work arrangements and work-life balance.How to Apply:Email resumes to for immediate considerationPay Details: $39.00 to $48.00 per hourSearch managed by: Christine Kiernan Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
