DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our Consumer HR team. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional influencing ability and strong business acumen - ideally within a financial services and/or sales environment. If you are a fast learner who is able to build strong relationships with senior leaders to accomplish high impact people strategies and workforce plans, this might be the role for you. In this role you will consult with our business leaders to translate their strategic priorities into applicable people strategies. Through your work, you'll use your skills in workforce planning, organizational design and effectiveness, employee engagement and change management to deliver exceptional HR advice and counsel to senior leaders in our organization.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business leaders to enable achievement of strategic objectives by engaging in candid conversations to identify the best solutions. Proactively anticipate business needs and recommend solutions.Drive the implementation of talent management initiatives including performance management, succession planning and leadership development. Partner effectively with Development & talent acquisition to asses talent, and develop strategies to close gaps as required.Build strong leadership capability across the business by identifying & addressing leadership gaps/needs and delivering innovative approaches to strengthen the team.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on complex HR issues and influencing decision making.Coach business leaders in implementing large scale change programs and supporting their people through periods of uncertainty.Analyze HR metrics to identify key opportunity areas and lead the development and execution of employee engagement and retention strategies based upon analytical insights.Build and maintain trust and strong relationships across all levels of the organization.Key competenciesLeadership - viewed by the business as a trusted advisor providing a viewpoint on business opportunities.Effective at leading complex conversations, projects, and processes and developing strategies to drive successful execution.Technical expertise with a minimum of 10 years' experience working in HR, preferably within a financial and/or sales organization.Strategic mindset with a drive to execute and get into the details when needed.Ability to develop long-term strategies aligned with the bank's vision and adapt to changing financial landscapeHR Functional knowledge - recognized as a professional with an understanding of employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and organizational development, compensation/incentive planning, benefits and diversity and inclusion to advise business/functional area leaders on shaping a work force that meets their priorities.Skills in change management and organizational development tolead change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions during digital transformations or organizational restructuringExternal perspectives -looking inside and outside to understand business trends to drive meaningful customer outcomes.Future-Focused Capabilities: anticipating future work trends and preparing the workforce with skills like adaptability, resilience, and continuous learning to stay competitive.Qualifications10+ years progressive HR experience with a 5+ years as an HR Business Partner and a proven track record of success.Experience in driving strategic, firmwide initiatives including building stakeholder relationships and influencing to achieve outcomes.Ability to synthesize complex concepts and effectively persuade senior audiences, orally and in writing.Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independent judgement and autonomy.Experience in applying analytics to gain additional insights from key risk indicators for data trends and benchmarking.Strategic thinker and pragmatic problem solver who is able to connect the dots, anticipate issues, and develop succinct recommendations and implementation plans.Strong negotiation skills and conflict management skills - ability to mediate, negotiate and facilitate differences amongst diverse stakeholders.Education/Certifications:Bachelor's Degree requiredAdvanced Degree a plusIndustry Certifications (HRM, SHRM) a plusThe salary range for this position is $150,000- $175,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
