Headquartered in Atlanta Georgia Novelis has approximately 13000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.Position OverviewThe Novelis Corporate Strategy team is seeking aSenior Analyst, Corporate Strategy!The person in this role will report to the Director, Corporate Strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading processes for planning Novelis’s strategic direction and identifying the most profitable paths and levers to meet business objectives. This position will focus on 1) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and 2) Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A), with other responsibilities as required.Responsibilities:ERMOrganize and lead the interview and feedback collection process with key personnel across NovelisDelegate work to and collaborate with other Corporate Strategy team members to execute the interview plan for each quarterly cycleFoster relationships across a wide internal network and communicate and interact with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts globallySynthesize the information gathered via the interview process into an incisive report to be shared with a BoD-level audienceResearch and prepare analysis of special topical focus areaM&AParticipate in the analysis of opportunities for acquisitions or divestitures, including project management, due diligence and business case and investment justification preparationMulti-task, manage details and maintain high quality in a timeline-driven environmentSupport the director with other recurring and ad hoc deliverables, including:Maintenance of the extended team's budget and tracking performance against the budget for expendituresSupport of the competitor and market intelligence gathering and reporting processOther ad hoc projects as required, including work that may be supervised by other members of the Corporate Strategy teamMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field3-5 years of experience in management consulting, banking, or strategy, business development, finance or similar function in a corporate settingProject management experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and Intellectual curiosityDemonstrated ability at capturing and synthesizing data from internal and external sourcesDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to and working with senior leadersDiligent, self-starter who is focused and flexibleExcellent organization and ability to manage projects in a structured wayAbility to positively manage change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, comfortable with ambiguityPreferred Qualifications:Experience developing and presenting material to a senior-level audienceInternational experience (work experience or study abroad)M&A experienceExperience in a consulting environmentAdvanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skillsFamiliarity with PowerBI and similar reporting toolsWhat We Offer:Novelis' benefits say a lot about how we care for each other.
