Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.We are currently searching for a Director of Payroll to join our Finance team in our Corporate Office.• Responsible for directing all aspects of Payroll management for PAGNY, including the preparation, documentation and distribution of payroll. • Ensures the timely and accurate processing of payrolls, payroll maintenance, and payroll reports.• Collaborates with the Assistant Director of Payroll to set the direction for the department with a focus on improved policies, practices and controls and works with other departments to enhance customer support and processing efficiencies.• Evaluate current processes, develops and implements operating efficiency improvements.• Works under limited direction.• Responsible for assisting in the overall planning. • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 10+ years of related Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 5 years of prior Payroll experience. • Knowledge of Paycom and/or other Payroll Systems, HCMS, and/or HRIS systems and reporting experience required. • Advanced Payroll certification(s) preferred. • Excellent client management and business literacy skills. • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required. • High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines. • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment. • Must be able to prioritize a variety of time sensitive tasks.
