If you would like to start an exciting job with a company committed to excellence and innovation, all while doing what we do, please consider joining the UCP of Central PA team!When it comes to where you work, we know you’ve got choices…here’s what we provide:Position Status: Part-time, less than 20 hours each weekSchedule: Monday-Friday, hours flexible to meet referral needsLocation: Varies based on referralsBenefits may include: Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan with Company Match, Life and Disability Insurance, Company Contributions to Your Health Savings Account, Paid Time Off, and more!Same day pay available with Tapcheck!Professional developmentincluding the opportunity to participate in the Infant Toddler Service Delivery Learning Path sponsored by EITA PA.As a non-profit employer, UCP participates with the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program - full-time employees may be eligible for the remaining balance on their Direct Loans to be forgiven!Here’s what to expect as a Physical Therapist:Assist in developing outcomes, strategies, and data collection methods based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).Ensure the identification, development, and implementation of physical therapy activities to meet the needs of the family and child in accordance with the child’s IFSP.Assess on an ongoing basis the functional skills of the child in gross motor skills to include: development of major motor components of pre-ambulation, gait analysis, assessment of balance and equilibrium reactions, and evaluation of the need for adaptive seating, positioning equipment, and orthotic needs.Provide families with individual session notes that include the outcome, strategies used, recommendations, and plans for the next session.Provide updates and information for quarterly reviews and annual evaluations in accordance with county guidelines to allow for adequate planning when determining the child’s continued eligibility.Provide support and feedback to families/caregivers with suggestions and strategies to assist their child in achieving their IFSP goal.Fulfill transportation requirements to complete home visits and community-based therapy sessions.Develop and implement new policies and/or procedures within the functional area to support the continuous improvement of operational effectiveness and efficiency.Maintain current mandated paperwork to include: State license, Child abuse clearance, State Police clearance, FBI clearance, 24 hours of training for Early Intervention, and any pertinent certifications related to your license/expertise.Minimum requirements as a Physical Therapist:Bachelor’s degree within a related discipline expected and 2 to 5 years of learning experienceOr Master’s degree within a related discipline and 0 to 2 years of learning experiencePA State licensure in Physical Therapy or eligible for licensureEligible for PA Promise EnrollmentNot on CMS Exclusion ListA valid driver’s license and 6 months of previous driving experienceAccess to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspectionAbility to communicate, read, write, and interpret EnglishPreferred, but not required:Knowledge of adaptive seating and positioning for childrenIf you are still reading, we should talk!
