SummaryThe Recruiting Specialist is a member of the Human Resources Operations Team and is responsible for consistent execution of Hyundai Mobis’ recruiting and hiring processes for assigned openings. The incumbent evaluates open positions, updates job descriptions; posts open positions, screens resumes and applications, schedules and manages interviews, and provides cost effective solutions to fill open salaried positions.Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Takes ownership for maintaining the integrity of the Recruiting and Hiring System; offers continuous improvement ideas and suggestionsEnsures that recruiting and hiring procedures are administered consistently throughout the entire organizationPartners with external vendors to administer and manage internal and external web based candidate searchesParticipates in Career Fairs to build a data base of qualified applicants to rapidly respond to talent acquisition needsMaintains an internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure efficiency in the recruiting and hiring processPlans for and trains hiring managers to screen and interview applicants using legally defensible employment law practicesDevelops a strong rapport with hiring managers to ensure fact based open two way communicationsCollaborates with hiring managers to update job descriptions and to develop an “Ideal Candidate Profile” for each open positionDemonstrates the use of “Best Practice” screening techniques to ensure that applicants have the right blend of education, skills, and experienceDevelops job specific and job relevant behavior based interview questions to enable hiring managers to make an informed hiring decisionPlans time each day to develop a pool of qualified candidates for each open positionUses external recruiting agencies to help source for hard to fill positionsFacilitates communications between applicants and hiring managers to keep all parties apprised of the status of each searchCoordinates travel and hotel accommodations for non-local candidate interviewsProcesses legally defensible offer letters and facilitates the post offer background check and drug screening process, coordinates new hire relocation as neededNotifies each hire of the date and time of new Team Member OrientationAssists with the on-boarding process, coordinates with hiring managers to ensure that each new hire has a sponsor, an office or cubicle, a computer, a phone, and necessary office suppliesProcesses Form I-9s, enters data into SAP, E-Verify, and complies with Alabama State hiring requirementsSchedules and facilitates Exit Interviews, uses feedback received to improve recruiting and hiring processes; tracks and reports opportunities for improvementRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Proven knowledge of recruiting and hiring processes and proceduresAbility to manage time and projects to ensure completion of annual recruiting and hiring plansProven Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)Knowledge of State and Federal employment lawsExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skillsPreferred Education & Experience:Experience in administration of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Professional Human Resources Certification (SHRM or HRCI) SAP experienceRecruiting and hiring experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environmentBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or Related fieldCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None RequiredWorking Conditions: Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings, and occasional travel to career fairs and off-site meetings
