Located 14 miles west of Charleston, West Virginia, Mardi Gras features more than 25 table games, a poker room, more than 850 slot machines, live greyhound racing, and off-track betting for both greyhound and horse racing; several restaurants and a 150-room hotel.Perform daily upkeep and maintenance on kennel units, including crate wire replacement, light bulb replacement, and addressing plumbing issuesOperate the Kubota tractor for track maintenance and transportation to the kennel compound, ensuring the track is prepped and dragged before each raceEnsure compliance with racing commission standards by inspecting and maintaining the track surface, infield, and tote board area, and performing necessary maintenance, such as debris removal and weed controlMonitor track tubing for proper moisture levels and greyhound safety during races, while also inspecting boiler and heating tubes for heating and moisture conditionsMaintain the kennel compound's sprint path and associated grounds, including landscaping and mowing racing-related areas like the track infield, paddock building surroundings, and kennel compoundCurrent valid motor vehicle license required and pass drug testCurrent valid motor vehicle license required and pass drug testMinimum of 1 year of maintenance or heavy equipment related experience preferredMust be able to obtain and maintain a Racing Commission LicenseAbility to lift up to 50-100 poundsAbility to stand or walk for long periods of time, push and pull, climb, mount, and dismount forkliftExposure to high-volume noiseExposure to extreme heat or coldExposure to fumes and odorsExposure to dogs danderCurrent valid motor vehicle license required and pass drug test
