Neonatology Advanced Practice ProviderThe Section of Neonatology of the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth- Hitchcock (CHaD) is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Neonatologists. The Neonatal APPs staff a 30-bed Level III Intensive Care Nursery in Lebanon, NH, and a 10-bed Level II Special Care Nursery at the Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester, NH. The Special Care Nursery at CMC is a unique nursery with an innovative philosophy of parent participatory care of intermediate care infants from birth. The care model includes rooming in capacity for families throughout the hospital stay and is based on successful models of parent care in Sweden.The Intensive Care Nursery in Lebanon is a full-service level III (no corrective cardiac surgery or ECMO) nursery with a pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship training program as well as a maternal-fetal medicine program providing referral service for the entire state of New Hampshire. Both the Intensive Care Nursery and Special Care Nursery are active participants in the Vermont-Oxford Network. The ideal candidate will provide expert care across the spectrum of neonatal illnesses, from acute/critical to intermediate and chronic care, embracing the philosophy of family-centered care.
