INVESTOR RELATIONS ANALYST POSITION SPECIFICATIONShine Associates, LLC has been retained to search, identify and recruit an Investor Relations Analyst on behalf of our client ('Company'). This position will be based in either Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, or NYC. CLIENT DESCRIPTIONOur client is a privately-held and vertically-integrated real estate company that develops, owns, and operates a portfolio of multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use developments. With corporate offices in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Dubai, New York, and San Francisco, the firm is an experienced real estate private equity investor and manager supported by an integrated operating platform and has 60+ years of experience across multiple asset classes. The Company's existing and under-development properties are valued at over $29.0 billion. During its 60+-year history, the firm has developed, managed or acquired over 96,000 residential units and 32.5 million square feet of commercial space in twenty-four states. The current portfolio includes over 55,000 residential units, 1 million square feet of retail and office space, and 25 million square feet of industrial space. INVESTOR RELATIONS ANALYST The Investor Relations Analyst is an exciting opportunity to join an established firm, where you will play a key role in a new and growing team. This role will assist the Investor Relations Vice President, Portfolio Management teams and various internal senior team members in the preparation of investor marketing materials and onboarding process.The Analyst position offers an opportunity to gain a high-level understanding of the firm's strategy, operations, and approach with investors. The Analyst will develop and utilize a broad skill set, ranging from effective written and oral communications to detailed investment performance analysis and disciplined project management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with other key company functional areas (acquisitions, portfolio and asset management, finance, accounting, compliance, tax, and legal) to compile data and insights for investor reports, questionnaires, communications, and ad-hoc requestsAssist in the coordination of investor fund closings (open and closed end vehicles), to coordinate investor subscription documents and limited partnership agreementsReview and organize subscription documentation and corresponding informationTrack and document essential information through the review of legal documentationAssist in coordinating documentation with legal team and managing correspondence with LPsProvide prospective and existing investor support via CRM platformSupport fundraising efforts by working directly with senior team members to create marketing materials, including PPMs and DDQs and RFI's for current investor updates and potential investors as well as due diligence presentationsProvide quarterly updates to investor and consultant databasesAssist in the creation, procurement and updating of marketing material content and designManage quarterly updates to consultant and investor databases and surveysAssisting in maintaining firm-level statistics to ensure consistency across internal and external facing marketing materialsWork closely with the marketing team members to ensure brand consistency across all internal and external facing materials (reporting, website, advertising, etc)Participate in a range of internal projects that require assistance with written communications, data analysis, and PowerPoint presentationsEnsure investor inquiries are completed in a timely manner and with thoughtful answers that satisfy the investor and maintain corporate / brand messageVarious special projects as requested LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft content, business correspondence, and interpret business concepts. Ability to effectively consolidate and present information to senior management. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related, post-undergraduate experienceStrong written and oral communicationProficiency in quantitative analysis Ability to multi-task and prioritize time-sensitive projectsOrganization and attention to detailSolid business acumen and understanding of financial terminologyKnowledge of investor documentation, including subscription agreements and limited partnership agreements (law firm experience a plus) Advanced technical experience, proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, WordExcellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style; extremely flexible, adaptable, a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentPositive and enthusiastic demeanor with excellent customer service skillsAbility to assess issues, gather information, solve issues, and report when necessarySelf-starter, intellectual curiosity, committed to continuous learning and development COMPENSATIONThe Company is prepared to offer a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus and other benefits.
