Come be a part of this journeyWE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER - TRADE STRATEGYSENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior LevelFUNCTION: FINANCE - Commercial Finance (Trade)LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NCROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESReports toSenior Director Commercial Finance - Trade StrategyNumber of Direct Reports0Core RelationshipsCommercial Finance, Commercial Planning and Analysis, Marketing and Trade organization.Geographic ScopeDRBU / U.S. RegionTravel Required~ 10%WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORFinance Business Partnering with Trade Strategic Accounts including responsibility for Retail programs such as Joint Business Funds (JBF), Space Merchandising Contracts, Profit Enhancement Plans (PEP) and Beyond Stock Allowance (BSA)Provide meaningful analytics and insights to drive effective resource allocation and return on investment for key initiatives within the Retail programs areas of responsibilityOwnership of arguments, KPIs, scenario modelling and benchmarking standard methodologies for Retail programs within the areas of responsibilityResponsible for monthly financial close procedures for Trade Retail programs ensuring all close activities are delivered timely and accuratelyResponsible for monthly forecasting for Trade Retail programs collaborating cross-functionally to ensure all updates are reflected, variances explained to guarantee no surprises and risks / opportunities flagged earlyOwnership of Trade Retail Payments process from a Finance perspective with a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business process including associated trade programs for retail customersProvide support to all business functions in coordinating day-to-day activities related to tracking, monitoring, and completing Trade Program Payments and associated financial and process controlsResponsible for oversight and management of relationships with GBS team and third-party service providers related to payment programs and associated activities around SOX controls management, performance, documentation, and design.Ownership of Retail programs from a Finance perspective providing full transparency of P&L sensitivities, effective controls environment and maintaining an accurate Balance Sheet positionProvide solutions that support in achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement for the responsible processes/systemsCAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?Have you worked on resource prioritization and have business partnering experience?Have you worked in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and time management of multiple deadlines?Have you had experience influencing cross-functionally to achieve a business goal?ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEMinimum 4 years of experience in finance or accounting servicesTechnical proficiency:Experience in SAP/BPC systems (preferred)Experience using Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build business relationships with TrustExcellent analytical skills & discernment to build strong arguments that drive business decisionsCommercially focused and is consumer centricStrong oral & written communication skills, negotiating ability, & problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional supportBachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Information technology, or related field.BENEFICIALMBA preferredWE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICAN-A member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUPAt Reynolds American, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
