Delaware North Gaming is hiring for afull-time or part-time Brake Attendant to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. Wheeling Island also features a 151-room hotel, many dining options, and a 1,000-seat showroom.Conduct inspections of the greyhound mechanical lure and rail system to ensure an efficient operation for every race.Log and ensure the rail and lure rig is safe and operational before each race; report any damage or non-working equipment.Ensure the greyhounds are wearing the appropriate muzzles before leaving the paddock for races.Be responsible for the respectful treatment of all greyhounds in their care at the property.All other duties assigned.Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate state gaming license.Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.No high school diploma or GED required.Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift.
