Come join our Early Childhood service team, who support an integrated classroom with preschool -aged childern. We have Daycare Teacher opening our infant classroom, supporting children 6 weeks to 18 months, and one in our preschool classroom, supporting children 3-5 years old in an integrated setting. 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and follow our daycare calendar. Rate of pay is $17.50 and are fully benefits eligible.Plan and organize programs for children with special education teacherProvide individual and group instructionProvide a safe and caring environmentProvide leadership and assign tasks to paraprofessionals in classroom, as applicableEffective communication as a member of the team, including participation in appropriate meetingsShare the educational perspective on how to address children, meet with teamUtilize problem-solving techniques to resolve differences and come to conclusion with teamUnderstand and utilize perspectives and techniques of other team members in program design and daily activitiesKeep families fully informed of issues affecting their children and the programPromote open communication and mutual understandingProvide support and information that families need directly or by suing team members, other agency resources or community resourcesContribute to a positive work and learning environment for children in program as well as co-workers- must be professional, courteous, and confidentialProvide ideas and show initiative to help develop the educational settingKeep records of children’s daily and overall progress including a report for the parent conferencesKeep daily attendance records for all assigned childrenAttend training required by program regulations, including OCFS regulations, and as directed by supervisorAssociate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field ORChild Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience, OR9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for childrenOur approach to Diversity and Inclusion -'A world where all people know they belong.'
