The Sr. Security Engineer will lead complex projects involving planning, design, installation and provide technical support with Palo Alto Firewalls. Lead complex escalations from other teams and provide mentoring on security and networking technologies, methodologies and procedures. Evaluate services and strategic direction of network security products by following core competencies in various disciplines within networking, security and knowledge of credit union policy and procedures.Partner with architecture teams to evaluate, analyze and recommend new technology solutions as they pertain to Palo Alto Network Security services. Design and implementation of new network infrastructure.Advanced configuration, troubleshooting and consultation on DNS, Firewalls, VPN IPSEC tunnels, IDS/IPS, Application firewalls, Palo Alto NextGen Firewalls, Proxy, Load balancers, IP routing and switching, Network monitoring and Virtualization security.Participate in ongoing security operations.
