The employee has impact and influence on campus policy and program development. Essential Duties Responsibilities:Design andor evaluate HVAC Systems. HVAC design engineers create heating and cooling systems and their controls.Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs. Interpret and Draft Plans. Calculate Ventilation Requirements Assist with capital planning Adhere to All Building Codes along StateFederal Guidelines Coordinate with Others, such as other trades Qualifications:Education(HS Diploma, UnderGraduate Degree, etc.) Bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering degree.Business Experience (prior year's workrelated experience) Individuals with a background in HVACR.LicensesCertifications Professional engineering licenses can design components and systems.Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Technical Qualifications Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
