Work on system architecture, electrical design, PLC, and HMI programming. Involved in projects from concept to completion, including: Meeting with customers to discuss requirements. Implementing requirements in standardized and user-friendly PLC and HMI designs. Commissioning systems in-house and on-site at customer facilities across the US. Handle fast paced and challenging projects. Grow and expand skills as an individual and as part of a world-class engineering team.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering. PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC, Logix; other platforms a plus). HMI design experience (Wonderware, FactoryTalk View; other platforms a plus). Knowledge of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet). Low-voltage electrical design and layout (UL 508A panel design knowledge a plus). Strong technical writing and communication skills. Knowledge or adaptability to the fluid process industry. Familiar with control panel assembly/wiring, installation, and electrical power distribution equipment. Experience with motor controls, relays, metering units, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, chart recorders, and other electrical equipment (AC/DC low and medium-voltage; some high voltage applications up to 480VAC 3 Phase). Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a Fluke Meter. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of field equipment. Ability to create electrical drawings using AutoCAD, including panel layouts, pneumatic drawings, and electrical schematics Knowledge of machinery safety circuits/emergency stop control design and mechanical concepts. Knowledge of electrical conduit runs and wire pull design, including cable trays, cable glands, and disconnect cables. Assist with field start-up and electrical IO checkout.Other Requirements: Willingness to travel throughout the US for project startups as needed.
