Master SchedulerEssential Functions and Responsibilities: Identify and implement system and process improvements within scheduling to enable overall business process improvements. Further develop existing forecasting tools and processes through the application of innovative ideas and projects. Convey and negotiate Master Production Schedule to ensure schedule achievability. Drive, promote, and develop positive communication with all stakeholders. Review and update forecast and master schedule, including the establishment of a planning calendar to ensure standard updates to the Master Production Schedule every month. Develop, execute, and maintain tools and techniques required to evaluate the impact of proposed schedule changes, including determining push/pull actions for financial forecast achievability. Assist with production meetings to assess actual versus planned outcomes and convey changes or updates to the Master Production Schedule. Ensure constant communication with team members regarding requirements and impacts. Supervise and report actual results against the Master Production Schedule. Prepare and manage the master materials schedule utilizing ERP systems and prepare staffing profiles for schedule achievement. Plan and schedule materials availability to support production schedules. Support new Sales Orders and Strategic Customer development through cooperative scheduling using Microsoft Project. Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies. Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for creating a professional, safe, and clean environment by being punctual, following company policies, wearing safety glasses in designated areas, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and following safety practices to prevent errors. Demonstrate commitment to teamwork by establishing effective relationships and networks with both managers/directors and workers, and collaborating with them to accomplish shared purposes and goals. Abide by the company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct standards and strictly observe all relevant laws and regulations.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows-based computer programs, and ERP/MRP-based company-wide sales order scheduling systems. Proven experience with planning and forecasting. Organizational and problem-solving skills required. APICS certification is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
