In this role you will be rewarded by a leading aerospace / defense manufacturer that really takes care of it's employees by offering perks such as:401k with company match, profit sharing, bonus potential and tuition reimbursement.Summary Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and defense purposes per customer requirements in accordance with Military Standards and DO-160. Prepares schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harness, and assembly drawings to support qualification and production build of the design. Coordinates with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure overall system form, fit, function and safety requirements are achieved. Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and qualification/production test support equipment. Determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products in accordance with system requirements. Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing procedures, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. Directs and coordinates repair assistance of production and field returns. Coordinates with quality assurance to support production test procedures. Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to support obsolescence issues and verification/validation of new sources. Coordinates and prepares engineering change notice (ECN) per configuration management standards. Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor of Science degree Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or an Electrical Engineering Technology degrees with a minimum of 2 years if related experience.Lehigh Technical & Professional Service is a leading staffing agency dating back to the 1950's.
