Nesco Resource has partnered with a growing company looking to add anAccounts Receivable Representative to its team. The selected candidate will be responsible for owning the Accounts Receivable process including cash application, invoice and AR Aging review, and verification of tax certs.Responsibilities and DutiesEnsuring the accurate and timely application of customer payments via auto-cash and manual postingsResponsible for a portion of the total AR portfolio for customer deductions, short payments, and credit requestsEngage others, promote, and focusing on continuous improvementEnsuring compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented practices are adhered toHandles intercompany accounts during month end close creating memo bills and collection and payment applicationReconciles customer accounts along with processing customer refund requestsContacts customers on past due disputed balances via phone or email to request additional information or paybackResponsible for large distributor accounts in the collection of past due invoices, disputed balances, and resolution of aged balancesMonitor and respond to customer requests and deductionsPrepare disputed transactions for credits and returnsApplication of monthly rebate credits to deductions for salesPost Cash/Receipts to customer accounts via either manual or automated, assuring that cash batches are balanced properly (Receipts include wire payments, mailed correspondence, intercompany)Ensures that customer accounts are up to date for the finance team to accurately perform monthly reporting functionsQualifications and Skills Two to three years data entry experience required (experience in Oracle NetSuite or A/R is a plus)One year finance / credit and collections experienceStrong attention to detailWorking knowledge of MS applications (particularly Excel)Excellent organizational skills Analytical and problem-solving skills requiredEffective verbal, written and listening communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task while maintaining data integrityAbility to work under pressureEffective verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and possesses the ability to complete tasks on-time and with little supervisionMaterial requirements planning (MRP) system proficiencyEducation / Training RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED4 years of industry experienceEducation requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experiencePRO030Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
