At Automotive Technology Experts (ATE), we understand the importance of providing fast and accurate vehicle diagnostic scanning and calibration services. We service hundreds of customers that rely on us to ensure that the repairs they have completed are safe and that the vehicle will operate as the manufacturer had intended.ATE was founded in 2019 to provide technological and electrical repair expertise in the collision industry that struggles to stay current with the rapidly changing technology in vehicles. We employ technicians across the country. Our growth will continue as we add team members that strive to be the best, commit to taking care of our customers, and continue to train so that they can accomplish team goals and obtain career advancement opportunities. The position requires hands-on experience with the ability to teach and motivate others to learn. Key responsibilities include:In-Market Field Technician TrainingATE Mobile Services (ADAS Calibrations, Diagnostics, Connector/Wire Repair, Programming, Relearns, etc.)ADAS tool training, including how to protect and properly maintain toolsATE customer service process, including how to effectively communicate with customers and how to document and bill for services performedShow technicians how they can meet and/or exceed daily production sales goalsTeach Field Technicians when/how to get supportSupport new markets with training and van setupFacilitate classroom training for new hiresProvide ongoing Remote Training (Zoom or Teams) for continuous education and targeted training sessionsMaintain accurate records of all training activitiesCollaborate on training projects, as neededMiscellaneous duties as assigned5+ years of automotive background servicing and diagnosing automotive systems2+ years working as an ADAS Calibration Technician, with advanced knowledge in ADAS and electrical services, equipment/tooling, and procedures2+ years of training experience (preferred)Strong technological skills, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to ADAS technologiesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to adapt training approaches to different audiences and learning stylesProven training and instructional design skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectivelyExude professionalism showing passion for the industry with an unwavering drive to doing things correctlyMust be able to perform all services offered by ATEOvernight travel required, 75% to 90% of time, depending on drivability of assigned marketAir travel requiredA safe driving record and a valid Driver’s License requiredAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand for long periods of time in automotive shop environmentsWeekly Paycheck Medical, Dental & Vision effective on start date401K Retirement Plan and Company MatchTransfer Between MarketsPaid Holidays & PTO
