The Resource Solutions Maintenance Manager supports the evaluation, selection, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including Rolling Stock, installed and used for daily operations, provides leadership ensures the timely installation and upkeep of the company’s property and systems in order to establish operational effectiveness.Establishes and maintains the highest level of excellence in communication with colleagues throughout the company.Assists and coordinates maintenance activities with Maintenance Managers, Division Managers, and Market Area Managers, to maximize operational efficiency of equipment and minimize unscheduled downtime.Maintains and improves a Preventative Maintenance Program throughout the facilities within the resource Solutions footprint to ensure all equipment is operationally fit for use.Assists managers with organization, scheduling, and ensures adequate work crews for major equipment overhauls, replacement of equipment and special projects.Coordinates and provides training and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.Negotiates contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.Manages and provides leadership to team members by effectively communicating, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members on achieving goals, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities that assist employees in attaining the necessary skills to achieve team and corporate results.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.Ensures compliance with all company, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws regarding employment and employee safety.The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 3 years responsible leadership experiences in a management or supervisory position, 3-5 years’ experience in an operational environment, and be legally eligible to work in the US. A valid driver’s license and an ability to travel quarterly are needed.Good analytical reasoning and justification skills and a strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems are necessary.
