The Woodshop Coordinator role is an entry-level position where the employee helps ensure suitable packaging that meets requirements is available to all workstations and prepares inventory to be stockedtransferredshipped. This associate coordinates with planning as well as operations to ensure all wood palletscrates from outside vendors as well as built in-house are stored properly and ready for workstations when required.WORKING HOURS:Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 2 pm (8 Hour Shifts)~~ $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days~~Starting Wage: $18 - $20 depending on experienceESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safety #1 - Safety Training; complies with all safety rules and guidelines set forth by UPM and OSHA.Checking in and putting away palletscratespackaging supplies delivered by vendors.Maintaining proper stock levels on frequently used items and notifying ops when necessary to order anizing supplies inside the warehouse as well as in the yard to allow workstations to access necessary items safely and efficiently.Builds custom skids requested by workstations so they can fulfill their work schedule.Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment.Builds and maintains inventory on specific high-volume pallets.Responsible for Housekeeping. The work area needs to be cleaned at the end of each shift.Perform all additional duties as requested by the lead.Other duties as assignedEDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREDHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); with one-year related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must possess the ability to use and operate the following equipment and tools: Coil Cart, Micrometer, Calipers, Scale, Fork Truck, Bander, Bander Cutters, Side Loader, and computer.Previous experience preferred but not required.BENEFITS:3+ Weeks PTOPaid HolidaysQuarterly Bonus ProgramHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance401K MatchTuition ReimbursementBoot Reimbursement
