For more information, go tomed.nyu.edu, and interact with us onLinkedIn,Glassdoor,Indeed,Facebook,TwitterandInstagram.Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program collaboration with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, the Director of Student Well-Being Programming, and the Director of Student Affairs, the Program Coordinator for Student Well-being and Academic Support enhances the student experience through the development, coordination, and implementation of a broad range of key, complex, innovative wellness, and and academic support programs. The role is responsible for the development, promotion, and coordination of assigned programs, including program design, budget, staffing, logistics, and other supportive functions.Job Responsibilities:Develops, plans, markets, and executes schoolwide wellness initiatives and programs to support student wellness and student engagement.Assists in conceptualizing and facilitating workshops and seminars related to student wellness.Researches and develops content for wellness communications and resources including but not limited to newsletters, awareness campaigns, and social media, student wellness webpages, and student resource guides.Coordinates wellness curriculum elements and under the direction of the Director of the Student Wellness Curriculum.Participates in quality improvement projects, performs study coordination tasks, and works closely with other team members to oversee study procedures for research that is conducted on student well-being.Oversees and advises the Student Wellness Committee and the Student Wellness Curriculum Committee and advocates for overall student wellbeing.Gathers and analyses data to measure the success of implemented programs on a quarterly and annual basis and makes programmatic change recommendations to Director and Dean accordingly.Identifies opportunities to collaborate with colleagues within Student Affairs and external departments on integrating wellness into all aspects of the student experience including but not limited to the Office of Diversity Affairs, The Office of Student Health and Student Mental Health, and The Office of Workplace Culture and Inclusion.Identifies and generates creative solutions for process improvements and student concerns.Coordinates tutoring support for students through the peer tutoring program and external tutoring resources.Liaises with the Office of Medical Education to track and execute student academic accommodations.Collaborates with student peer tutors and faculty to execute workshops on study skills, time management, and study preparations aimed to assist in students academic success.Performs other related duties as assigned.Supports office events and programming as part of the Student Affairs team.Performs other related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $74,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
