Growth opportunities available!Apply online or contact us to hear why our employees appreciate being part of the Knauf family!Develop graphics for the HMI screens on the factory floorSet up computer systems for supervisory software for plant process controlsManage factory process control networkProgram and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentationSubstitutes setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing factory instrumentation and environmental control systemsCollaborate with Engineers and Venders on new equipment installation, new HMI and process systems, process improvements, and service routines Act as a liaison between corporate engineering and plant process controlsWork with factory management team to identify and correct equipment-related issues, improve efficiencies, product quality, and safetyEducation: Associate’s Degree in related field preferredFactory automation equipment and PLC programming and troubleshooting training requiredExperience:Minimum eight (8) years’ of Industrial or Electrical Controls experienceMinimum two (2) years’ of experience with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware (Allen Bradley)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of and ability to program PLCs, VSD, motor controlsKnowledge of plant processes in a similar environmentAbility to develop and read instrumentation diagrams and ladder/relay logicAbility to troubleshoot electrical systemsAbility to manage multiple projects with minimal supervisionAbility to motivate, lead and coach others Ability to work in a hands-on, industrial manufacturing environmentAbility to take work-related calls after hours when necessaryAbility to work additional hours at the plant if/when emergencies occurProject management skillsIt is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law.
