We follow the LTSUSA curriculum and are rapidly growing!This role will pay an hourly rate between $20 to $25.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until November 1, 2024Teaching Tot through advanced level classes following LTS-USA curriculumEncourage students to practice the skills they are learning outside of classMay have to lift small children who can't stand up on their ownActively recruitn and promote our program and specialty classes to potential new skatersHave a welcoming and encouraging attitude with the skaters and parents Work with other coaches and coordinator to better our classes and programs Potentially assisting with off-ice education and tying skates Accurately and thoroughly evaluate students and the end of the session - completing report cards and certificatesAttend coaches meetings and/or trainings Enforce on and off-ice rulesHave or obtain a Learn to Skate USA professional membershipHave or obtain a Safesport Certification5+ years of figure skating experience, ISI Freestyle 4, or USFS Juvenile Free SkatePrevious coaching experience is a plus, but not requiredPositive attitude with willingness to learnGreat at working in a team environmentISI membership and synchro experience are a plus, but not requiredAlso seeking Jr level coaches who would like to learn the joys of coachingAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
