This demands a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency in repair techniques, and dedication to achieving impeccable results. What you will do:Perform a variety of body repair tasks, including dent removal, panel replacement, and welding.Ensure alignment and structural integrity of repaired components.Execute precise repairs on vehicle structures and panels, addressing dents, creases, and deformities.Utilize welding and cutting techniques to restore damaged structural components.Employ frame straightening equipment to align and reshape vehicle frames.Ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity during the frame repair process.Perform skilled welding and metal fabrication to repair or replace damaged sections.Utilize various welding techniques to achieve strong and durable repairs.Prepare surfaces for painting by addressing imperfections, rust, and other surface irregularities.Use fillers and sealers to create smooth and even surfaces for the painting phase.Focus on intricate repairs, including trim and molding restoration, to achieve a factory-like finish.Address and correct any imperfections in the vehicle's body surface.Ensure precise alignment and fitment of repaired components to meet manufacturer specifications.Perform adjustments to guarantee seamless integration of repaired parts.Conduct rigorous quality control inspections on completed repairs.Perform functional tests to ensure repaired components meet safety and performance standards.Quality control inspections and complete safety performance standards.Perform other mechanical and electrical repairs including but not limited to:Tire replacement and wheel alignmentSuspension repairs, restore stability.Replace AC system components.Service cooling system, radiators, hoses, and pumpsRepair and replace electrical components, airbags, computer systems, and wiring.What you will need: Proven experience as a Body Shop Repair Technician, familiar with repair techniques.In-depth knowledge of welding, frame straightening, and advanced repair processes.Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for intricate repairs.Ability to interpret repair manuals and technical documents.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.Stamina to perform detailed repairs for extended periods.Flexibility to work in confined spaces to access and repair specific vehicle components.Physical strength to lift heavy panels and auto parts, able to bend, stretch, twist, see details.Good communication skills, and a positive attitudeHave a clean driving record.
