LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting our client located in Southfield, MI. The HR Coordinator will assist with a variety of human resources activities and programs, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, workers' compensation, employee training and development, and compliance with employment related laws and institutions. ResponsibilitiesMaintain current knowledge of employment related laws and institutions and assist with providing compliance in all areas of human resourcesRespond to internal and external human resources inquiries or requests and provide assistanceAssist with personnel recruitment activities, including advertising open positions, scheduling interviews, coordinating interview materials, sending candidate emails, etc.Process online requests for background checks on prospective employeesSchedule pre-employment physicalsSchedule and assist with new employee orientation and onboardingCoordinate new hire paperworkPrepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions, in compliance with applicable standardsEmployee benefits administration, including health insurance, short & long-term disability, life insurance, FMLA, and workers' compensationPrepare and maintain Workers' Compensations and Incident ReportsAssist in the aggregation of data needed to prepare the annual Affirmative Action Plan Assist with preparation of the performance review processAccept administrative support assignments as neededOther duties as assigned Specifics:Full-time; Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm with an hour lunchContract-to-HireCompensation between $20-25/hr. all dependent on level of experienceHealthcare benefits available Other career opportunities can be found at: Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hourSearch managed by: Tracey Callahan Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
