Lauderdale Beach is looking for a new Food & Beverage Manager.We are a very diverse team with a ton of personality Come play with usSummaryThis candidate will report to our Director of Food & Beverage Outlets and oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage outlets which include OCEAN2000 Restaurant, O2K Lounge, Room Service and Mini Bar.The Food and Beverage Manager will:Ensure professional and courteous service to all guests in the outlets by table terview, hire, and train all new hires on company/hotel standards of service.Continuously mentor and develop team members.Act as liaison between front of the house and back of the house employees.Work on special projects as assigned incl. marketing outlets to local area and participating in off site events representing OCEAN2000 pleting and assisting with monthly inventories as well as payroll.About The Pelican Grand Beach Resort:At Pelican, we often celebrate our employees' accomplishments. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.4+ years F&B Management experience a must.Must be able to speak, read, write and understand EnglishRequires good communication skills, both verbal and writtenKnowledge of table service standardsKnowledge of appropriate table settings and service wareAbility to describe all menu items and methods of preparationMust be able to pass a background checkMust be legally allowed to work in the United StatesBe available to work a flexible work schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidaysKnowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities requiredAbility to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessaryAbility to solve problems and make rational decisionsKnowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.Noble House Hotels & Resorts are proud to encourage and support an environment where everyone can be a successful team member (come as they are) as their true authentic self.
