We have a commitment to our employees by providing competitive rates and compensation, a comprehensive employee benefits programs, attractive working conditions, and the chance to build and explore a career opportunity by offering professional development.Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.This Procedural Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas.Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.Participates in cross training in other specialty areas.Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects.Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.1 year RN required; 2 years of specialty experience preferred in GI or IR.BSN; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)Current NJ-ACLS0600-1630 or 0630-1700 based on unit needs. No weekends or holidays.The Procedural Nurse Coordinator requires critical thinking to consider factors related to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care.Effective resource utilization by the Nurse Coordinator requires coordination with the Clinical Director to plan or change course of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes.Requires expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level, including excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate effectively and supervise the work of other team members.
