We believe in and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Justice, and Inclusion for our team and clients.Other therapists, therapy, counselors, counseling, social work, case managers, MSW, MHP, MFT, associatesGENERAL SUMMARYThis clinician is responsible for providing a range of intensive outpatient services to a small cohort group of the following population: older adolescents aged 18 to 25 and adult mental health clients. Intensive case management services with outreach and engagement services are required. Interventions may be time limited or longer term, and will be part of an outcome-oriented treatment plan developed with in a managed care framework, which includes periodic reviews for appropriateness of services and intensity.The individual in this role will participate actively in the treatment planning and review process, including supporting documentation of the clinical services performed. You would be required to work with primary care physicians, DCFS, and inpatient facilities, mental health residential facilities, and other adult servicing agencies to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for clients with significant mental health problems in the community. Case management includes coordination and consultation with other service providers and community resources, and referrals to facilitate meeting the clients' needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESProvides direct services and/or internal and external organization referrals for clients.Develops treatment plans and maintains accurate and timely clinical records according to organization policy.Performs outreaches/services to community locations to engage clients in care.To comply with County and State standards there will be service intensity expectations.Prepares necessary reports, summaries and progress notes, and incorporates into clinical records.Performs consultations and liaison duties with other agencies and resources on behalf of the client.Assists client to remain stable in the community, thereby reducing the use of hospitals or involuntary treatment services.Monitors medication regimes and treatment compliance.Monitors utilization of services and the success of outcome measures.Participates in team member meetings, consultations, case presentations and in-service training.Participates in ongoing program development and assessment.Performs other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLSUnderstands the principles of individual therapy, group therapy and/or case management approach to providing services.Possesses strong working knowledge of the mental and/or behavioral health and supportresources ofKing County, and is familiar with state and local health delivery systems, including knowledge of various funding principles and clinical services mandates.Understands recovery concepts in behavioral health; synthesizes and applies, as appropriate to their work at Sound.Ability to learn new tasks and skills quickly, and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, while simultaneously managing crises.Able to demonstrate the capacity to appreciate and work well with the complex and diverse population.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field, with a strong emphasis on working with families and community agencies required.A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a clinician or case manager and demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and treatment plans, preferred.CREDENTIALSWashington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.Must be able to obtain aWAState Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within the first 60 days of hire.Must pass a criminal background check.All Team Members at Sound working 40 hours per week will be eligible for the following benefits:100% Paid Medical & Dental InsuranceFull time Team Member and child(ren) coverage until child's 26th birthdaySpouse/Domestic Partner coverage available (team member pays full cost)Paid Life Insurance2x annual salary + additional $25,000Long Term Disability Insurance (60% monthly salary)100% premiums paid by Sound18 Days of Paid Rest and Relaxation (Vacation)- beginning first year12 Days of Paid Sick Leave9 Days of Paid HolidaysHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)for health care (limited) and dependent day care costs (pre-tax)Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)The StandardSound retirement plan:401(k) plan (organization contribution) - Sound contributes 3% to team members plan even if you don’t.Teammembers are 100% vested; team members may contribute to their own planPaid TrainingFree in-house professional training and $400 annually + 3 paid days off-site trainingPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)Free Supervision Hours -Washington State LicensureService Award- at 5,10,15,20 & 25 years of serviceCompensation range: $30.98-$33.64 per hour.Sign-on bonus and pay range listed are for external applicants ONLY.
