The Outbound Logistics Analyst will oversee load tracking, yard management, and daily trailer operations for shipments originating from the West Coast.In this role, they will collaborate closely with the internal Shipping team, Distribution Center (DC) leadership, linehaul carriers, and pool teams to facilitate seamless delivery to the pool point from our West Coast Distribution Centers. They will proactively escalate any issues to their manager to prevent delays in transit and provide support to the DCs in resolving any concerns related to Bills of Lading (BOLs) or loads.Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for generating daily reports for the Outbound team and internal DC partners, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of information across all parties involved.A Day In The Life:Updates daily the in-transit visibility system and file with up-to-date trailer status, location, and ETA of West Coast loadsCooperates with local carrier dispatch teams to ensure appropriate equipment pools are maintained.Leverages data & reporting to establish pool point unload priorities and drive FIFO complianceProactively resolves in-transit exceptions, executes exception resolution protocolUses data insights to identify network bottlenecks and problem spots for mitigating actionsAssists with any alternate projects and priorities for Outbound Team with ManagerYou'll Come With:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Supply Chain/Finance/Business-related field and 3-5 years of Logistics/Transportation related field preferred.Requires 3-5+ years’ experience in Logistics/Transportation or Supply Chain-related fieldKnowledge of invoice resolution pertaining to logistics operationsRequires familiarity with transportation procedures, definitions, and processesRequires high level of proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office tools to analyze data and produce reportingSelf-confidence managing business issues in conflict and facilitating key stakeholders to achieve best resolution for overall businessDemonstrated ability to focus, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects under deadlineStrong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skillsHighly motivated, results-oriented team playerAbility to work independently with limited supervisionCome join our team.
