Accounts Payable SpecialistLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in Cincinnati, OH. Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of recent experience and be able to work onsite 100%. This position is temporary with a chance for being hired on permanently. Pay for this role will range between $20 and $23/hr. depending on experience.ResponsibilitiesReview and verify invoices and check requests.Sort, code, and match invoicesSet up invoices for payment and enter them into the system.Track expenses and process expense reportsPrepare and perform check runs.Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other recordsReconcile accounts payable transactions.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.Assist with month-end closing.Provide supporting documentation for audits.RequirementsProven working experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software and databasesExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financesStrong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting proceduresProficient in data entry and managementAssociate's degree in accounting or related field preferredStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to build good relationships with vendors and suppliers.Analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office, especially ExcelIf you are interested in learning more, please apply now.
