Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Location: Centre Square West Tower- 1500 Market Street Hours: Full Time Summary: Provides financial support to CPUP leadership, CPUP Departments and the Health System; Actively supports the Financial Manager, Senior Director of CPUP Financial Planning & Systems and CFO in the strategic and financial planning for the system; Provides appropriate internal controls and stewardship of assets; Responsible for the financial analysis activities delineated below in an efficient, customer-focused service manner. Skill Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access with VBA. Experienced with Hyperion Essbase / Planning / Reports. Experienced in working with Finance/Accounting systems. Infor FSM preferred. Strong critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, strong motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and effectively with prudent judgment and discretion at all times. Role Responsibilities: Entity Financial Strategies & Policies- Assists Finance Manager, Dir Financial Planning & Systems and departments in the development and implementation of Financial and other operational systems/standards in a coordinated and efficient manner. Funds Flow - assist in the preparation of annual Funds Flow process Assist in preparation and maintenance of all Funds Flow agreements between CPUP, CCA, Corporate and Hospitals. This includes the review and coordination of Research, Teaching, Rent, Purchased Service, Programmatic support. (CPUP $572M+). This requires working closely with CPUP Chief Operating Officers, Directors of Finance, and Hospital Controllers. Oversight and coordination of the IET Application for CPUP and ensure reconciliation with other entities, including monthly IET reconciliation process with CPUP departments. Assist in the preparation of Funds Flow rebase meeting packages, including ad-hoc analyses as assigned. Prepare requests for special projects as assigned. Entity Operating Budget - assist in the preparation of annual operating and statistical budget Assist in the annual 5 month projection and target setting process Assist in seeding and validation of projection and budget data in Hyperion prior to budget period opening Consolidate and prepare budget packages for departmental review meetings Assist all departments in their budget preparation and Hyperion entry Entity Monthly Close - coordinates routine tasks associated with the monthly close: IET reconciliation Develop and maintain financial reporting tools including Hyperion Reports, FSM, SmartView/Essbase, and Power BI. Other functional reporting accountabilities as assigned by the Finance Manager and Sr Dir Financial Planning & Systems. Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology (Required) 4+ years of experience in a Finance department, with a progressive accounting and budgeting, for a Healthcare System.
