Essential Job Functions: The Senior Production Supervisor provides leadership and supervision of all activities and work shifts to ensure fair and consistent application of processes and procedures. Job functions include but are not limited to: Implement Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other applicable policies procedures. Continually evaluate their effectiveness and propose improvements. Support of the NRC Program Management Team through establishment and tracking of plans to meet production and quality goals; revise plans as necessary to meet surge conditions and other production challenges. Daily review of production and quality data; identifying trends and problem areas; develop and execute corrective actions as necessary to keep production and quality performance on track. Engage and collaborate with peer Senior Production Supervisors and the Program Management Team to facilitate production and quality improvements, avoid bottlenecks and support continual operations improvement. Organize, establish and assign work schedules for department staff to ensure efficient and effective department operation; load balance staffing to ensure smooth operations and avoid production bottlenecks and backlog. Supervise, manage and execute the STOP Safety Program to reach a goal of zero accidents. Review and approve exempt hours worked and time off requests to ensure compliance with work schedules, published timekeeping, attendance and time off policies, as well as business needs. Coordinate with Payroll and Business Operations as necessary. Guide, direct and mentor Production Supervisory Staff and nonexempt employees. Ensure all employees understand and comply with company Policies and Procedures. Ensure compliance with EEO policies and regulations including objectively assessing qualifications, determination of assignments employee/candidate selection, training, promotions, discipline and awards. Supervise and validate completion of administrative reporting across the department e.g., daily statistics, logs, task narratives, and generate reports when required. Manage multiple projects, improvements and operational tasks. Other duties as assigned. Primary Responsibilities: Performs as the senior department supervisor by planning, monitoring, directing and executing records management activities. This position utilizes good customer service skills with direct customer interface and can manage multiple projects, improvements and operational tasks. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, as needed. Be able to pass a post offer employment physical ability test. Be able to pass government background security clearance check (includes a credit check) Must be able to retain a government public trust security level clearance. Be a U.S. Citizen Be 18 years of age or older. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
