CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.The Event Production Staff produces event setups for athletic contests and events with emphasis on the professional execution of lighting, sound and projection equipment. Staff members will complete event setups and strikes, deliveries and event support in a team-based atmosphere. Leadership and communication skills are paramount as the Crew Employees are expected to work autonomously in a very customer service-based position.This position will work on-site at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Sonnentag Center, a major athletic, recreation, and event center. The new Sonnentag Center will serve as a venue for university and community events, concerts, and home to Eau Claire Men’s and Women’s Athletics.Essential Functions:Responsible for the setup and operation of sound reinforcement systems, lighting systems, projection equipment, video equipment, communications equipment, and in-house systemsReceive, inventory and install deliveriesSet up, operate, and strike production equipment in a sporting or events environmentAttend and actively participate crew member trainings and meetingsProvide excellent customer service skills and effective communication to crew members, professional staff members and clientsAssist with equipment inventory, cleaning and maintenanceApplicants must be 18 years or older.Education and Experience:A high school diploma or its equivalentSkills and Abilities:Excellent customer service, organization, communication, and problem solving skillsWillingness to learn new systemsMust have ability to work independently and in team-based environmentsMust demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to execute a standard of excellenceWork EnvironmentEvents environment that may occur on weekends and eveningsModerate to loud noisePhysical DemandsMust be able to traverse throughout the arena.
