This program operates world-wide. The Project Managerwill maintain a centralized inventory management and accountability system to facilitate the support of asset management. This includes support for the electronic receipt, inventory, and transfer of infrastructure and security equipment and resources. The Project Managerwill conduct physical inventories, provide weekly reports on warehouse activities, ensure the proper destruction of sensitive data and proper disposal of IT equipment, and ensure the safeguarding of equipment.All work is performed in the customer warehouse in Vermont.Project ManagementStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Ability to create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana).Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise between internal teams, vendors, and contractors.Ability to manage and resolve conflicts, build relationships, and influence key stakeholders.Proven ability to present project updates and reports to senior leadership.Technical KnowledgeFamiliarity with facility systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and compliance standards.Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management (e.g., LEED certification).Problem-solving and Decision-makingStrong analytical skills to assess project risks, foresee issues, and develop contingency plans.Ability to make informed decisions quickly and manage crisis situations effectively.Experience with negotiating contracts, managing change orders, and mitigating disputes.Leadership and Team ManagementAbility to lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external contractors.Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members through complex projects.Budgeting and Financial AcumenExperience managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control.Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.Familiarity with financial reporting and forecasting for capital expenditures.Time ManagementProven ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.Experience in scheduling and coordinating activities to minimize disruptions to business operations.Track record of delivering projects on time, even under tight deadlines.Compliance and SafetyKnowledge of workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations.Experience ensuring that projects adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements.Ability to oversee inspections, permitting, and code compliance.7+ years of experience in project and program management with at least 5 of those years managing IT projects and programs across a multi-time zone, multi-facility enterprise.This role will not require an active security clearance for consideration however, you must be able to obtain DHS EOD Suitability.Must have working knowledge of DevOps concepts.Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders and vendors with responsibility for delivering interrelated services.All candidates must have their PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.USD $114,693.12/Yr.USD $191,155.20/Yr.Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
