Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Cage Supervisor to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. In this role you will oversee all areas of the cage and vault to ensure that all state, federal, and Delaware North guidelines and procedures are being followed. The property features 940 gaming machines on the main gaming floor and an outdoor gaming patio.Lead and supervise a team of associates, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development.Participate in the selection and training of new team members, working to ensure they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures.Maintain self-serve kiosks.Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports.Cross-train in all facets of cage operations including Drop/Count and Main Bank.Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at the end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed.Maintain the supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary.Understand the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a gaming roleMust be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vaultSuperior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high volume environment requiredBasic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office requiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming licenseNo college degree requiredHours will vary as the team member will train/work on the overnight shift, day shift, 4am drop and both the day and overnight bank shifts.Must be available holidays and weekends.Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally and push a trolly cart with an approximate weight of 75 lbs.Must be able to stand for long periods.Must be able to bend, lift, and crouch as needed.Gaming environment, noise levels may be moderate-to-high, including exposure to second-hand smoke.
