We provide leading"edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light"directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!Position SummaryCompletes Sub-Assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering and quality specifications.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Performingsub-assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructionsFollowing supervisors’ instructions of work to be performedInspecting, operating, and testing completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specificationsCleaning and lubricating parts and assembliesMaintaining personal tool inventoryMaintaining a clean and orderly work area based on quality goalsUsing a computer to record assembly statusFollowing safety instructions and rulesWorking overtime and assigned shifts as neededEmployees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.High School"¯diploma"¯or equivalent"¯preferred"¯Minimum"¯of 1"¯year of"¯machine assembly"¯experience"¯Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprintsBasic computer knowledgeBasic mathematical knowledge, including decimal and fractional equationsKnowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power toolsKnowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniquesGood verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientation#LI-DNP
