Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, identifying opportunities to expand company growth, building strategic partnerships, and strategically advising company leadership based on data-driven analyses. You will conduct market research, develop and implement business strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure company alignment and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Requirements: • • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. • 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the clean tech or environmental sector, or in the materials manufacturing industry. • Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships, preferably within materials, climate, or heavy manufacturing industries. • Strong understanding of sustainability trends, initiatives, and policies within the context of the broader market. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Experience consolidating information and drafting presentations for customers, industry conferences, and lay-audiences. • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities, and identify opportunities for company growth. Bonus Points: • • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field. • Previous experience working in a startup environment. • Established network within the clean tech, environmental, or energy sectors. • Experience in securing non-dilutive and investment funding for tech startups. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and policies related to carbon capture and environmental sustainability.
