Senior Procurement ManagerLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for one of our multinational clients. The perfect candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services at the best possible price and sustainable quality, while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with the Global procurement strategy. This role involves developing and executing procurement policies, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize value and minimize risk.Location: New York, NY 10003Shift: Hybrid - 2 days in office (flex) - 9:00 am - 5:00 pmCompensation: $50.00 - $56.00 per hourPurpose of the Position:Procure goods/services at optimal prices and sustainable quality.Minimize exposure to potential risks.Ensure compliance with the Global procurement strategy.Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Manage integrator reports, analytics, and inventory.Optimize the catalogue, reduce stock loss, and improve forecasting.Challenge internal stakeholder requests to identify performance opportunities.Qualify local vendors and maintain the Preferred Supplier List (PSL).Conduct competitive bids for budget reduction and manage the vendor program.Develop local procurement strategy in collaboration with HQ Procurement.Collaborate with global, regional, and local business teams.Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation processes.Prepare and issue contractual agreements.Develop and manage supplier relationships at regional and local levels.Resolve supplier contractual issues and claims.Establish and enforce procurement policies and guidelines.Participate in procurement transformation and implement best practices.Monitor supplier performance and manage internal progress plans.Set KPIs and track team performance.Provide management reports on key activities and issues.Participate in the procurement community and share best practices.Education & Experience / Skills & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business or related field.4+ years of experience in A&P and 2+ years in POS/VAP planning/execution.Strategic sourcing and contract mercial acumen and project management skills.Understanding of Consumer Products/Beverage industry (preferred).Knowledge of POS/VAP suppliers and processes.Cross-functional stakeholder management.Risk mitigation and change management abilities.Strong business acumen and leadership skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pay Details: $50.00 to $56.00 per hourSearch managed by: Jason Timothy Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
