In 2020, KH Washington Township received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.Received 5 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.Key Job Responsibilities:Effectively controls utilization of all financial resources as outlined in the department’s budget. Demonstratescontrol while continuously reviewing adequate use of productive FTEs, overtime, and operating expenses.Maintains sufficient inventory levels while recognizing cost reductions whenever possible. Responsible for allpersonnel, their actions and productive outcome to comply with hospital philosophy. Maintains control andorganization of the department while collaborating with departments throughout the hospital. Manages dailyfunctions (supply PAR leveling and linen replenishment, ordering, order follow-up, cycle counts, quality checks,crediting, scheduling, etc.) in order to maintain proper product flow and ensure maximum customersatisfaction. Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum Work Experience:Five to Seven years of associated healthcare resource and materials management experience. Three years in asupervisory role preferred.
