Position: Math Test Administrator-Grades K-3 (Temporary, Washington, PA) $25 per hour 25-30 hours per week, temporaryScope of Work (for Temporary Employee):LHH is seeking to hire child assessors to administer math assessments to elementary school students in fall 2024 (approximately mid-September through mid-October), with additional opportunities to conduct assessments in winter and spring. The assessor will be required to proctor mCLASS Math group assessments and administer one-on-one Woodcock-Johnson addition to test administration time, successful candidates must complete human subjects research training, training on the assessment instruments and protocols, and district screening processes prior to administering assessments. Assessors will also perform data entry. Internet access is required for data entry purposes. Successful candidates should be prepared to bring a laptop (not an iPad) each day they are conducting assessments. If you do not own a laptop, one can be provided for use.Successful candidates will be paid for all training and time conducting assessments and associated research activities. Travel mileage will also be paid. This is a temporary position. LHH is seeking applicants to fill multiple positions. Successful candidates can expect to work 25-30 hours per week during the time assessments are being conducted.Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To: Conducting direct assessments with elementary school students in Washington School District schools. Adhering to all study procedures and processes, and following directions and feedback of study supervisors. Completing required CITI Human Subjects Research online training and certification, and other study or district screening requirements such as fingerprinting. Following procedures for submitting mileage reimbursement and timesheets. Successful candidates are responsible for their own transportation. Securely handling testing materials and student information according to study guidelines.Qualifications: Some college is required. A bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, child development, education, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in school- or non-school-based settings is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professionalism in working with children, teachers, administrators, and colleagues. Fluency in English. Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to reliable personal transportation to school sites. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Current CITI Social/Behavioral Human Subjects Research and Information Privacy and Security certification, or the ability to complete certification before September 2024. Prior experience conducting assessments with elementary school children is ideal, but not required. Candidates without this experience will be trained. Must be available in early September 2024 for training, and available to conduct assessments during regular school hours during the assessment period from September 2024 to October 2024.Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
