We are seeking an Indirect Tax Manager with at least 6 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance and planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales/use tax filings demonstrate a thorough understanding of state and local tax regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all sales and use tax laws, overseeing tax reporting, and developing strategies to optimize our tax position. Perks of the role:Employee-centric company culture with above market benefits, retirement plan, and PTO policyWork from home flexibilityInternal growth opportunities Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.Develop and implement tax compliance strategies to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.Conduct regular reviews of sales and use tax processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance on their impact to the organization.Collaborate with various departments to address tax-related issues and ensure proper documentation and support.Prepare and review documentation for tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales and use tax, with a demonstrated understanding of state and local tax laws.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide actionable recommendations.Proficiency in tax softwareDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:CPA or other relevant certification is a plus.Experience with Oracle ERP and tax compliance software.
