Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meets quality standardsMaintain the cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working orderEffectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of foodPerform opening, closing and side work dutiesActively work to maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadershipPartner with team members and restaurant managers to satisfy guestsNo college degree requiredAt least two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory experienceAbility to effectively communicate with others and lead in a fast-paced environmentAttentive and detailed orientedBasic math skills with an ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportionsManual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip, etc. a variety of foods and liquidsAbility to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbsStanding and walking for the entire length of the shift
