VP, Expense Operations Manager Global Corporate Services Division (GCSD) Job Overview Responsible in providing day-to-day operations management of the firmu2019s global expense operations across 34 countries. Customer focused delivering and exceeding expectations ensuring GCSD continually drives best practices and global stakeholder management. Driving u201cbest in classu201d operational excellence, global process transformation, improvements and best practices that deliver process efficiencies, quality, improved controls and excellent customer service. Description: Ownership, oversight and governance of the global Expense process: Manage the day-to-day operational services across expense globally. Manage all internal customer service-related issues until final resolution. Be the escalation point for internal clients to address issues that impact our key stakeholders. Drive and lead lobal expense vendor performance to ensure compliance and controls are adhered to. Develop, monitor, implement initiatives and projects to establish, maintain or improve the quality, effectiveness, and satisfaction of vendor service levels. Evaluate and challenge existing workflows and processes to enhance internal client experience through creative thinking and innovation. Pursue new vendor relationships, services, and state of the art technologies to support strategic vision(s) of the expense department. Identify and communicate specific processes and procedures to different lines of business to help them meet their expense objectives and budgets. Provide detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to support this process. Seek to achieve the most profitable service from vendors. Enforce adherence to protocols for receiving/addressing complaints. Initiate contract changes when required. Ensure company policy, procedures, objectives and travel programs are properly executed within the corporate guidelines and company philosophy. Act as Global Expense Policy point of contact for colleagues and vendor(s). Utilize feedback and benchmarking to inform future policy recommendations. Responsible for delivery of process governance, oversight, and best practice for expense. Provide input into the global express process strategy and vision. Identify process improvement opportunities that align with global process strategy and vision. Provide leadership, direction and process expertise where required. Evaluate service offerings from external technology solution providers. Liaise with internal technology team to deliver projects, process changes and improve reporting capabilities. Ensure the Global Expense Inbox is being managed and completed daily. Provide training and education to key users of the expense process. Qualifications: 5-7 years of industry experience and knowledge of expense and/or accounts payable within a highly complex and regulated global organization is preferred. 5+ years project management skills and experience is preferred. Proven experience of successfully delivering process improvements across multiple locations simultaneously (US, Americas, EMEA, APAC). Decision making skills in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment. Proven leadership skills to lead global teams to deliver key strategic process improvement objectives. Proven experience of successfully managing change for highly complex, global projects Strong collaboration skills. Can work in partnership with key stakeholders from multiple functions and locations. Ability to see potential upstream and downstream impacts of T&E change. Strategic mindset, but able to get into the details when required. Influencing skills to be able to align key stakeholders to support process changes & improvements.
