This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRIDIn this role, youu2019ll make an impact in the following ways: Operate independently and work directly with the Business, Operations, as well as Legal, Compliance, Finance and Risk functions to design, enhance and monitor a consistent and evolving control framework Provide general support to the Business Controls Officer responsible for 1st Line controls coverage of the Liquidity and Financing business globally Drive standardized and consistent mechanisms to evidence controls and supervision, and ensure alignment with firm-wide initiatives Project manage remediation efforts, including corrective actions resulting from audit findings, regulatory requests and examinations, operational risk events/errors and other significant projects or tasks; manage and prioritize deliverables across multiple tasks and stakeholders Support internal and external reviews conducted across the Liquidity and Financing business (e.g., regulatory reviews, Audits, Compliance Testing reviews, etc.) Review documentation for evidence of successful and efficient performance of control and business procedures (including the evaluation of compliance with existing policies and procedures Identify and escalate material risk and control issues that need to be addressedTo be successful in this role, weu2019re seeking the following: Bacheloru2019s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required 3-5 years of total work experience in financial services preferred, ideally with experience in risk and control discipline (e.g., First Line Controls, Operational Risk and/or Control Assurance, Regulatory Change, etc.) Familiarity with securities lending, liquidity & cash management products and/or collateral management is a plus Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve controls and efficiency Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external management Ability to learn quickly, handle simultaneous requests and projects, and adapt to a fast-paced environment Ability to develop remote relationships across functions and regionsAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
