EMCOR Group is the world's largest provider of planning, consulting, mechanical and electrical construction facilities.SUMMARYThe ideal Payroll Administrator candidate will be responsible for assisting accounting with the quick and efficient processing of payroll. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical thinking skills, an attention to detail, and most importantly, the ability to retain confidential information. Excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant phone manner, efficient typing ability (data entry), and familiarity with payroll software.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and pute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers.Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll pile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.Review, correct and enter time sheets into database and payroll software for multiple unions and nonunion employees on a weekly basis; payroll is in-house so this also includes printing and distribution of checksReview and enter new hire paperwork data into software and file into employee personnel files.Process certified payrolls accurately on a weekly basis includes entering data into DIR eCPR, LCP Tracker, E-MARS and other portals.Familiarity with different union fringes and benefits for processing purposes.Review all I-9's, enter into E-Verify, scan for electronic archives.Generate and distribute necessary reports internally and externally.Gather documentation for company audits on a timely basis.Process positive pay and direct deposit files with bank uploadEmployee verifications and scanning of employee personnel files pursuant to legal requests.Maintain utmost confidentiality of company information.Escalate critical andor sensitive issues to the Controller with recommendation for resolution.Perform additional assignments as required by the company or as directed by management.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
