About the RoleThe Associate Manager of Affiliates is responsible for supporting the day-to-day oversight and execution of Global Affiliate Marketing programs in an effective way for Gap Inc. and its brands. Sitting within the broader Marketing Shared Services organization, this role is part of a new approach for Gap Inc. and will be a main contributor to the scaling and management of Affiliate Marketing programs. This role will work closely with the Affiliates and Channel Activation teams, Channel Planners, Brand Marketing, and Gap Inc.'s Media Agency partners to drive efficiency and effectiveness in Affiliate marketing strategy implementation. They will contribute heavily in the effort to identify opportunities for greater economies of scale and synergies across the four brands.What Youll DoAssist in managing a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns strategy with Gap Inc.'s goals, invigorates brand identity, defines key objectives and adheres to company roadmaps to drive growth of sales and maximize revenue and return on ad spend across the portfolio of brandsConsistently oversee day-to-day budgeting and goal management of channels, acting as the main point of contact with Media Agency resources dedicated to AffiliatesManage relationships with Media Agency to identify and pursue key media partnership opportunities that will deliver consistent and strong resultsAnalyze performance data to draw insights and provide recommendations for decisions across spending, targeting and creative to improve efficiency and performance across brandsPerform routine reporting to evaluate and optimize performance and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization and drive decision-making Manage partnership with Brand and Creative teams to align on monthly deliverables, priorities and briefings.Work closely with affiliate Media Agency partners, provide ongoing and proactive direction on seasonal priorities, commercial plans and strategic decisions to consistently drive company roadmap and business goalsRegularly conduct research and due diligence to identify Affiliate innovation opportunities and best practices that will elevate Gap Inc.'s brands in the marketplace.Who You AreBachelor's degree, plus 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the retail space. Proficient Marketing experience, preferably with experience in Affiliates.Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics. Comfortable using data to influence decision making. Experience in planning and executing Affiliates campaigns while scaling performance-driven marketing channelsKnowledge of Affiliates channels, technologies, best practices, and trends Experience in a highly complex, matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionallyImpressive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage up, down, and acrossEntrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity and continuously improve ways of workingBenefits at Gap Inc.
