The VP of Sales Strategy will be an integral member of the Small Business Services (SBS) sales strategy team and work closely with members of SBSí¢€™s Senior Sales Leadership Team to help drive top and bottom-line results. They will report directly to the Divisional Vice President of Sales Strategy and work to develop and execute SBSí¢€™s multi-year strategic plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: Help manage the multi-year strategic sales planning process for SBS: develop short, mid, and long-term strategies using fact-based analyses. Support business case development for various strategic initiatives. Interact with Senior Sales Leaders across functions to structure and analyze complex business problems and uncover actionable solutions. Work closely with the business development team to evaluate partnership opportunities. Develop compelling content (using Microsoft PowerPoint) that articulates strategic options and enables executive decision making. Drive prompt and efficient execution of recommendations. QUALIFICATIONS: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales Transformation, Sales Operations, Program Management, Change Management and/or process improvement with proven success in delivering results. 5+ years of people management experience The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle multiple work streams, with varying degrees of complexity in a fast-moving and complex environment. Adept at solution design í¢€“ able to help guide the team to an optimal solution that drives both effectiveness and efficiency. Experience setting strategy and managing cross-functional teams, but also a willingness to jump in personally to do the work. Demonstrated record of driving initiatives to deliver tangible, sustained business results. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; experience influencing and building alignment with senior management. Proven facilitation skills to move a group to meet project goals and outcomes. Ability to motivate and engage Associates at all levels of the organization. Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. Must be able to influence multi-directional and non-linear relationships. Willing to lead unproven initiativesí¢€¦challenging new projects, untested, crossing functional and/or unit boundaries, leading change. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
